同じ学校の卒業生同士が集まって、当時の様子を振り返ったりするイベントを「同窓会」と言いますが、英語ではこれを “reunion” と表現します。中学校の同窓会であれば “junior high school reunion”、また高校の同窓会であれば “high school reunion” と表現することができます。

その他に学校などで、同じクラスだった者同士が集まる「クラス会」は、“class reunion” と言います。

ジェシカのセリフも以下のように表現できます。

“I’m really looking forward to my high school reunion at the end of the year!”
（年末の高校の同窓会がとても楽しみ！）

“I went to my junior high school reunion, but everyone was different from what I remembered.”
（中学の同窓会に参加したけど、みんな別人のように変わっていた。）
