英語で「そのまま」は、“as it is” や “the way it is” を使って表現することができます。

as it is

“as it is” は「（それの）そのまま（で）、現状で」という意味で使うことができます。

ジョンのセリフも以下のように表現できます。

“I prefer it as it is, so please don’t change anything.”
（それはそのままの方が好きなので、何も変えないでください。）

このフレーズは “it” 以外にも、例えば “as you are” のように使いたい状況に合わせて他の代名詞とそれに応じたbe動詞を入れることができるほか、”as it was”, “as they will be” などのように、動詞の時制も変えて使うことができます。

“He decided not to change clothes before swimming, and he just jumped into the pool as he was.”
(彼は泳ぐ前に服を着替えるのをやめることにして、そのままプールに飛び込んだ。)

the way it is

“the way it is” も「（それが）あるまま（で）、そのまま（で）」という意味で使える表現です。

“If you don’t like it the way it is, then we can customize it for you.”
（現状のままでお気に召さなければ、カスタマイズすることもできます。）

また “That is (That’s)” や “just” などを付けることで、「それが現実だ」「そういうものだ」という「仕方がない」といったニュアンスを含む意味のフレーズとして使うこともできます。

“I know it’s not a good situation but that’s just the way it is.”
（良い状況ではないことは分かっているが、それが現状だ。）
